Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey looks set for WWE

Following back to back defeats in the UFC, former Bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey could be joining the WWE in 2018 – after footage emerges of the superstar currently in training.

The move would come as no surprise, after the inaugural women’s champion suffered two vicious knockouts at the hands of Holly Holm, and current champion Amanda Nunes in succession.

While Rousey has a hardcore MMA fan base, UFC president Dana White also made comments this week suggesting he isn’t eager for her to return to the Octagon any time soon. Added to the footage of her training, it would seem the former Olympian will almost certainly have a future within the WWE organisation.

Rousey has previously made an appearance at WrestleMania 31 in 2015 with The Rock, Triple H and McMahon. It has been speculated Rousey could take part in a singles match at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans next year, with a likely opponent being either Stephanie McMahon or Charlotte Flair.

Should Ronda Rousey move to the WWE, or should she continue to fight with the UFC? Have your say in the comments below.
