Dana White aims to sign Anthony Joshua with $500 million deal

UFC president Dana White has expressed interest in offering current heavyweight boxing champion, Anthony Joshua a record-setting contract to sign with the organisation.

Though it won’t be to fight inside the octagon.

It is no secret that White has been looking to venture in to boxing promotions over the past few years, and now it seems the UFC mogul could be willing to drop as much as 500 million dollars to secure a deal with one of the biggest stars in combat sports.

Joshua is currently undefeated at 20-0 and is set to face off against Joseph Parker on March 31, at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. It is believed White will attend the event in person, with the intent of meeting Joshua and his team.

While Joshua has gone on record as saying he plans to stay with his current promoter Eddie Hearn, White will undoubtedly give the Londoner something to consider with an offer that could make him the highest paid boxer of all time.

This ambitious bid would likely see Joshua fight under the Zuffa boxing brand.
